I’m Effie, a Sydney based artist and designer, inspired by my Greek heritage and the beauty I find on my travels to Greece.
After graduating in a fine arts course and later studying graphic design, I then spent over 20 years in the creative industry, working in branding and packaging studios. It was an incredibly rewarding journey, collaborating with clients and teams to bring ideas to life through thoughtful, strategic design.
Recently, I’ve felt a pull back to my roots—returning to the pure joy of drawing, just like I did as a child. That spark has reignited something in me and I’m now merging my love for art and design in a more intuitive, playful way.
My current practice now includes a blend of surface print design, illustration and storytelling—bringing together colour, creativity and emotion in every piece. Whether it’s for products, textiles, or personal projects, creating work that feels both meaningful and joyful.

My artwork is inspired by my travels to Greece over the years and I feel truly grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the connection to my Greek heritage.
The designs captures the essence of summer exploration—through playful shapes, flowing lines and vibrant colours. I draw inspiration from my love of architecture, the sun, the sea and the beautiful landscapes that surround me.
